I’ve said it before and I will say it again — you lot love the Funstars! So as part of our Funstar Friday we have asked one of our Funstars to give us all the back stage gossip about the Day in the Life of a Funstar. We caught up with Nathan who has been a loyal Funstar of ours for over two years now and we’ve roped him in to doing a monthly post for us, giving us all an insight to the weird and wonderful lives of the entertainment team — so without further adue let me introduce you all to Nathan! — Helen x
Do you remember going on Holiday as a child and meeting new friends? Remember the excitement of waiting for that first letter from your new pen pal? I do — so this year we wanted to show the kids of today how we used to keep in touch! We also have a partnership with Been2Books, an exciting new way to keep your family memories alive, but more of that later on…
This month we are going to take you behind the scenes to discover how our wonderful videos are made! My name is Madi and as Haven’s social media manger, one of my favourite parts of my job is getting to visit our holiday parks, capturing the little known and wonderful things about them and our teams to later be transformed into a video for our YouTube channel.
Our Combe Haven park is set across from a hillside not far from the historic city of Hastings and just half an hour from Haven’s holiday park Combe Haven you will discover some of the most gorgeous countryside in the UK that can be explored by bike or on foot — and I was lucky enough to do just that!
Here at Haven we love Easter. Not just because it marks the start of our holiday season. But because it’s the perfect time to start spending more time outdoors. I’m a keen walker and cyclist so I’m always looking to go out and about. And I’d always recommend asking our friendly staff for tips about the best walking routes near your park – they’ll always be happy to share their local knowledge. Easter Sunday is on 20th April this year so if you’re having a weekend away, we’ll get things going by telling you about all the great walks in the south east of Scotland – but don’t forget, you’ll find other great outdoor activities in plenty of other regions too!
