Some animals hibernate, but if you’re lucky you may get a glimpse of some of the amazing wildlife the UK has to offer if you’re out and about this winter. Can you spot any of these?
Dyson and Apollo are two of the many dogs whose owners have holiday homes at Haven. Along with their owner Colleen, they’d like to tell you about why a holiday at Perran Sands is so ideal for the dogs and their dog owner needs! Names: Dyson and Apollo Walker Breed: Springer Spaniels Age: Dyson 10 years old, Apollo 2 years old Park: Perran Sands Likes: Favourite food is fresh cooked chicken but if made to eat dog food it is always Pedigree. Love Perran Sands for the vast amount of sand dunes and the free run on the beach. Like to visit Perranporth, Fistral and Mawgan Porth beaches. We own our own caravan at Perran Sands and really enjoy our time there. It has miles of dunes and grassy hills to walk over with a lovely sandy beach. On the beach is an enormous drinking bowl — but don’t be fooled, it doesn’t taste very nice so we would advise you don’t drink out of it…
We’d love to welcome a new blogger to the Haven blog. Below is a factfile and some pretty pictures of one of our biggest fans!
Breed: Yorkshire Terrier
Age: 18 Months
Park: Caister, Great Yarmouth
Likes: I love the beach and like to bark at Julie,
Mike and Laura until they throw me stones to chase.
I like the sand because I can dig. I also like
Bradley Bear (I think we might be related – we’re
the same colour?)
Favourite walks: Caister Beach and Fairhaven Garden.
