It’s almost time to begin planning your Christmas schedule around all the TV you’re going to be binge watching on the big day! So we’ve found the five festive specials you should be most looking forward to this year!

Great British Bake Off

When? Christmas Day – 4.45pm and Boxing Day – 7pm
Where? BBC One

This two-part Christmas special, named The Great Christmas Bake Off, will be the last to air on the BBC and the last with Mary Berry and co so get settled in and enjoy! Familiar faces from past Bake Offs are set to appear and get baking again!

Where? BBC One

It’s been almost three years since we last saw the Outnumbered family, but they’re back on our screens this Christmas and they’re all grown up! Grandad needs some help, but it’s not all plain sailing for the Brockman’s.

Where? BBC One

A New York comic book superhero (Justin Chatwin) joins up with the Doctor (Peter Capaldi) this Christmas to try and save the city against a deadly alien threat. Little Britain favourite Matt Lucas is also lined up for a role.

The detective, played by Alan Davies, returns for the first time since 2014 for a “spookiest ever” episode Christmas special. Daemon’s Roost explores the story of a horror film director who dies in a haunted house. Sarah Alexander continues to play Creek’s wife Polly, while Warwick Davies also has a starring role.

Where? BBC One

Six former contestants are back and will be putting their dancing shoes on again! Olympian and presenter Denise Lewis; pop star Frankie Bridge; writer and actress Pamela Stephenson; celebrity chef Ainsley Harriott; TV presenter Gethin Jones and radio and TV host Melvin Odoom are the celebs taking on the ballroom this Christmas.
