6 reasons to leave London behind and escape to the beach!

With the tubes in London coming to a stand still today, now is definitely the time to escape to the Great British coast and get some fresh air! Let’s have a look at what you could be experiencing if you could escape to your own Haven holiday home.

1) Perran Sands

Well there’s no better place to start than in Cornwall! Over at our Perran Sands Holiday Park, you might think that you are in Barbados with sea as blue as this. I can’t even see a commuter in sight!

2) Hafan y Mor

Think deserted beaches, wild flowers and the Snowdonia National Park and you have our North Wales wonder which is Hafan y Mor. We have action galore in our large, gently undulating park on the Llyn Peninsula. Inside our park we have so many fun activities, including Aerial Adventure! But with gardens, woodland walks and our own pebbly beach, you might choose to do – nothing at all.

3) Quay West

Further along the Welsh coast by Cardigan Bay sits Quay West Holiday Park. This park is a real cliff top sanctuary with a sloping path through the woods to a quiet sandy beach. Escape the everyday commute with archery, kayaking and an owners’ sauna, steam room and jacuzzi!

4) Hopton

Over in Norfolk we have our the delightful Hopton Holiday Village! Can you hear the ducks splishing in our pond? Or the swish of leaves? Our little oasis is a paradise for picnickers! The gentle slopes mean you get lovely sea views.

5) Devon Cliffs

Sandy Bay is a stunning Blue flag beach in the heart of Devon and is privately owned by Devon Cliffs Holiday Park.  Set atop red sandstone cliffs the sandy path down to this glorious bay is definitely worth following.

6) Thorpe Park

As the day comes to an end you could be experiencing the amazing views like the ones over at Thorpe Park Holiday Park in Cleethorpes! Spread out along a sandy beach, it is one of our biggest parks, with lots to do. There is a golf course, fishing lake, indoor pool and outdoor lazy river with flumes and a climbing wall inside the park.
