Entertainment for tots – Tree Fu Tom and Shaun The Sheep

There are exciting times ahead for tots at Haven with children’s TV stars Shaun The Sheep and Tree Fu Tom touring the parks throughout the summer.

Shaun The Sheep

Your little ones will be heading to Mossy Bottom Farm to meet Shaun the Sheep and his friends across our parks from May until July.

Everybody’s favourite sheep is baaa-ginning his 34 date tour thanks to SGA Productions with Aardman Studios.

It’s a glorious summer’s day in Mossy Bottom as the residents are preparing for the annual Country Fair. The show joins stall holder Jim making the final preparations before the fair is declared open. It promises to be a grand day out for all the family featuring games, competitions and lots of fun!

Over at Mossy Bottom Farm, the Farmer has put Bitzer in charge of making sure the farm is in ‘sheep shape’ before the fair begins. Using his authoritative whistle Bitzer collars Shaun and the Flock to help.

Everything goes swimmingly until disaster strikes forcing Bitzer out of action and leaving the naughty pigs in charge of the farm and the whistle… What could possibly go wrong? The show incorporates high-energy slapstick, classic comedy and farmyard frolics delivered with Aardman’s unique comic style, the Mossy Bottom Show will surely be a day to remem-baa!

But that’s not all, at our newest park, Thornwick Bay, in Yorkshire, you will be able to enjoy an interactive live Shaun the Sheep experience which will include family farmyard fun with ‘Championsheeps’ ‘Vegetable Orchestra’ and ‘Mossy Bottom Cinema.’

Will you be going to see either of the shows on our Haven parks this year? Let us know in the comment section below!

  • Steve

I think certain parks have got dates which fall outside of school holidays for these shows so unfortunately turn out will be low for them.

    • Hey Steve 🙂

Thanks for stopping by. We try to have dates in and out of school holidays for the younger kids as well 🙂

      • Daniel

When are the star acts going to be announced to which haven sites there playing at?

        • Hey Daniel 🙂

We’ve added the dates in to the blog so you can see when our touring shows will be visiting – enjoy!

          • Stuart

Hi, i think people want the star acts dates not these 2 kids shows. Are we having anyone from x factor or BGT this year? thanks

          • This year instead of having adult geared talent on our parks we decided we wanted to try something a bit different. We have exciting touring concepts exclusive to Haven coming to visit us this year, including everyone’s favourite Sheep, Shaun and the popular Tree Fu Tom. Hope this helps 🙂

  • Georgina O Callaghan

We’re going to Quey West in july. Do you have the dates for these shows in Quey West?? My kids would love them!!

    • Hey Georgina 🙂

Shaun the Sheep will be heading to Quay West on Tuesday 31st May and Tree Fu Tom will be visiting on the 24th May – hope this helps!

      • Georgina O Callaghan

Thanks so much for replying!. We’re booked for July, maybe I need to book for May too 😉

  • Graham Westoby

I agree with Stuart, these are shows for children, which star performances are lined up for haven adult holidaymakers. We have children who will be going to Primrose Valley in August, but also four adults who want entertaining not everyone is a fan of Shaun the Sheep, plus they are only on at a park twice in a season.I have been going to PV for 55 years, and think the effort made to entertain has gone downhill, entertainment should be geared for every age and taste.Could you please tell us what quality acts are planned for 2016,or is the answer none, thus many people will vote with their feet next year. Also could you please inform us what entertainment is on at Primrose Valley weekend of friday 15th April.Thankyou.

    • Hey Graham,

Thanks for your comments and your feedback will certainly be forwarded on to the entertainments team.
As well as our shows for the tots we will have our touring shows back for the summer, such as Seaside Cirque and our summer panto! Once I get these dates I’ll forward them on to you.

On the 15th of April we have
Fri 15th April – Nikki Summers Band, showband
Fri 15th April – Van Buren, Illusionist
Sat 16th April – Adrenaline Brothers, 3 piece band

  • Gem Simon

Would’ve loved to bring my son to see Shaun, as he is Shaun mad…all of the ones locally fall out of school holidays and a long weekend works out at the same price as a week! 🙁

  • Allison Owens Campbell

My husband and I were actually discussing home ownership but what this suggests to us is that your budget for live entertainment star acts has decreased by quite a bit. I can only assume that this trend will continue or even worsen and that is concerning. I’m afraid we shall not be discussing home ownership at Haven in the near future while drastic cuts are in place to the detriment of your customers.

    • Hey Alison,

It’s great to hear you had Haven in mind when thinking of Holiday Home Ownership. This is just a slice of the offerings when you become an owner at Haven. We have lots of clubs, owners only shows and entertainment that I’m sure you will love.

Which park would you be looking at and I could arrange a call?

      Have a lovely day,

  • Graham Westoby

The entertainment package has gone downhill at Haven,as i asked the question below 3 months ago what quality entertainment was on this season, and no one can answer. So there is the answer. Its such a shame as Haven get everything else at their parks right, but year on year fail with a quality entertainment package.Butlins i see get for example Diversity,Dick and Dom,and many top acts,so why can’t Haven follow suit.In the past ive seen Ken Dodd,Les Dennis,Cannon and Ball,Showaddywaddy,Bradley Walsh to name but a few. What now Shaun the Sheep visits each park twice a season[great effort to entertain holidaymakers of all ages]The entertainment programme really needs alot more effort to satisfy all holidaymakers needs,People work hard and deserve value for money on this issue.

      Hi Graham,

Thank you for your feedback. We will pass your comments onto our entertainment team.

Many thanks and have a lovely day.

  • Graham Westoby

Why hasn;t there been any updates or comments for 3 months?

    • Lucy Holland

      Hi Graham,

So sorry for the late reply.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear you feel this way, we regularly review the activities and entertainment that we offer so I will pass this on to our Entertainment team.
