Filey Beach, which is right on Primrose Valley’s doorstep, has been named the UK’s Beach of the Year 2018 by The Times newspaper.
Journalist Chris Haslam describes the beach on the North Yorkshire coastline as being ‘magic’ and retaining the heart of the Great British seaside.
He explains, “This magic is an alchemy of ozone and vinegar, shrieking gulls and giggling kids, salt on your face, sand in your ears, the thump and the hiss of the surf, and a childlike sense of endless possibilities.”
You can even enjoy a lovely walk down to the beautiful seaside town of Filey along the beach from Primrose Valley. And the greater news is it’s also right next door to our lovely Reighton Sands.
