This week it’s all about our picturesque Church Farm Holiday Park! With all manner of fun and exciting activities to do on and off park here is my selection of top things to do in the local area…
Jungle Paradise Adventure Golf
When on holiday I always try to find the most exciting adventure golf course possible, some call me crazy but that’s putt-ing it lightly! Well, under 20minutes from your front door you will find the tremendous Jungle Paradise Adventure Golf. The whole family can putt over waterfalls, through caves but keep an eye out for hidden jungle creatures and a crashed plane! With a family of 4 exploring for £25 this is an opportunity you cannot miss out on.
Earnley Butterflies, Bird & Beasts
After a spot of crazy golf, why not see some other birdies with a trip to this tropic experience. Not only can you get up close and personal with a whole array of tropical butterflies, you can enter the Reptile House, marvel at an Eagle Owl – which is the largest in the world, or just relax with Hector and Harvey, the miniature Mediterranean donkeys! With a whole range of activities the whole family can visit for under £30. I thoroughly recommend you go and say “Aloha” to this fun family experience!
Tangmere Military Aviation Museum
With a love for all things history, as I may have mentioned before, I can guarantee this museum will leave you wanting to find out more! Have a wander around an impressive collection of aircraft and unique memorabilia from as far back as WWI. Take an adventure into a real life air raid shelter with fully equipped air raid sirens to give an experience you will never forget. Not only is there a selection of interactive displays but you can also enjoy several aircraft simulators where the whole family can take to the skies!
Sailing from Itchernor and Emsworth take a trip on this revolutionary solar powered boat and enjoy our beautiful coastal scenery like never before. The on-board the engines are virtually silent as you glide along getting up close to many of the birds and animals that live in our coastal waters. Whether you are looking for a relaxing lazy Sunday treat or you are a lover of all things nature this is a trip to not miss out on!
Arundel Wetland Centre
Take a trip back to nature at the Arundel Wetland Centre where there is a huge selection of outdoor activities for the whole family. You can go pond dipping at their Pond Explorer station, or maybe a relaxing Reed bed and Meadow Maze walk is what you are after or let the children on to the tree creepers where they can scale two giant bird feeders. With children under 4years going free, have an experience to remember!
