It can be hard keeping the little ones entertained when they’re off school so we’ve had a look at some of the top places to take them during this February half term. From learning to light a fire in Devon to meeting Peter Rabbit in the Lake District, read below to find out more on what we have found…
Grab your wellies and visit Kent Life farm to meet the new born lambs, make friends in the cuddle corner, have fun in the outdoor parks and get creative in the Paint a Pot studio during your visit.
Why not take a trip to meet Peter Rabbit and friends at The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction in the Lake District! Watch the stories come to life in the Peter Rabbit Garden and enjoy a day of free crafts on 19th February.
Follow the footprints through Sheringham Park and look out for the tell-tale signs animals leave behind to see what you can track down this February half term! Solve clues along the way to win yourself a prize all for only £2.30 per trail.
A day out with the kids needn’t be an expensive one, bring them to the National Botanic Garden of Wales where Under 16’s go free and they can enjoy camp-fire adventure’s, popcorn making, games and storytelling featuring ‘Stickman’.
Don’t let the weather spoil your half term, if it’s a bit wet outside bring the kids to Round the Twist indoor playground in Wrexham North Wales, just £3.95 per child.
Visit Bransby Horses Rescue Centre to see the 350 horses, donkeys, ponies and mules on site and take part in pony grooming, arts and crafts, and meet and greet’s where entry and parking is free!

Discover the secrets of the Ancient Oceans and become a dinosaur detective at Sea Life in Brighton this half term. Take part in interactive fossil digging, skeleton hunt, a quiz trail and much more to earn your detective certificate.
Bring a monkey a present and kids can go for a quid this half term at the Monkey World Ape Rescue Centre!
