This is the first in a series of blogs which will introduce you to a whole range of different members from the Owners team, across all the our holiday parks. This week we are chatting to Ross Eldergill who is the Learning and Development Manager for the Owners Services team. So let’s find out a little more about Ross!
Well, I’m now in my 13th year with the company!
What did you do before your current role?
Most recently between 2011 – 2014 I looked after the owner benefits package, enhancing the ownership experience through a bespoke events calendar, which included events such as summer balls, parties, summer circuses and much more.
What is your current role and what does it mean for the owners?
My current role as the Learning and Development Manager for owner services will benefit our owners immensely! Our owner teams will benefit from specific and tailored modular training utilising core skills workshops that will enhance our team members technical skills in all different areas within owner services. Allowing team members to grow and develop themselves in their current roles which in turn will deliver amazing customer service for our owners ownership experience.
What do you think makes people want to become an owner?
Whenever I am out on the holiday parks I can really feel the sense of community between the owners and the team, for me, this at the heart of why people become owners.
What are the best parts of your job?
Supporting our owner teams to fulfill their creativity and deliver amazing events and services to our owners.
Is there anything in particular you are looking forward to in 2015?
My new role! – challenging albeit will be very rewarding with our owner teams being the crème de la crème in the UK holidays industry.
Just one more thing:
If you were to be a superhero which would you be?
