North Wales on Foot

North Wales is full of natural beauty, wildlife and history waiting to be explored! Whether you want a walk by the coast, or a hike up a mountain, you will find something to suit you in North Wales.

Isle of Anglesey Coast

Enjoy breath taking views as you walk around the coast of the Isle of Anglesey, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in North Wales! The full costal walk is 128 miles long, so would take 12 days to complete! The walk is split into 12 sections so it is still perfect for a day trip if you just choose one section you would most like to do! The walk takes you through a variety of different landscape including coastal health, dunes, farmland, salt-marsh, cliffs, foreshore and woodland!

Edge of Wales Walk

Look out at stunning scenery as you walk along the coastal path of Llŷn Peninsula on the Edge of Wales Walk. You will walk along a Celtic Trail full of history including an old Pilgrim trail which dates back to the pre-Christian era! The walk will take you past Pilgrim churches, Holy Wells and ancient standing stones so this walk is perfect for looking out across beautiful sea views and seeing some history too! You’ll also get the chance to see some wildlife as along the rare, unspoilt Bardsey Island, you’ll often spot seals, dolphins and sea birds! If you’re looking for a walk with a bit of everything then this one is ideal for you!
