This Halloween take a trip to Dreamland Margate, who have transformed themselves into ‘a world of nightmares’ as it launches its first ever major scare festival… Screamland! Perfect for all the family with events being divided into day and evening activities, daytime for small children and families and evenings for ages 14 and over.



Shriek Week
Location: Colchester Zoo, Essex
Nearest Park: The Orchards

Shriek Week is set to return to Colchester Zoo for another year from the 24th October- 1st November with a whole range of activities suitable for all ages! From Scarecrow’s riddles to the Hotel of Hell and Merlin’s Magical party to Skeleton Safari, you can discover a truly haunted Halloween this 2015.



Halloween Hooley!
Location: Robert Burns Birthplace Museum, Ayrshire
Nearest Park: Craig Tara

A short drive from Craig Tara is the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum where you can find the original cottage where the man himself was born. Throughout the afternoon on 31st October you find the cottage showing it’s spooking side with scary tales being told, apple bobbing and creepy crafts.

Spooky Halloween Day
Location: Caernarfon Castle
Nearest Park: Hafan y Mor 

With a history dating back to the late 11th century, Caernarfon Castle has some spooky goings on planned for this Halloween. You will be in for a day of ‘thrills and chills’ at a castle that definitely has a few skeletons in the closet, as they are providing a Halloween-themed trail of the castle itself.

Spooky Halloween Trail
Location: Burton Agnes Hall, Yorkshire
Nearest Park: Primrose Valley

Feeling brave? Well running from, 24 October 2015 – 1 November 2015, Burton Agnes Hall have put on a very spooky woodland trail which invites any visitors to explore the historic woodland of the Hall. Expect to see some ghoulish goings-on and some very mysterious woodland adventures.
