Things to do this May half term 2015

It ‘May’ be the half term holidays but why not still keep the kids engaged with their school subjects through fun filled and exciting days out with the family.

Whether  you are enjoying yourselves at Haven this half term or planning a day trip out the learning doesn’t have to stop!

We asked our lovely intern Becca to come up with a lesson plan that would definitely get an A*!

PE

If you’re at Haven
Heated indoor and outdoor pools many with lazy rivers, slides and space bowls. Lots of additional activities including Water Walkerz and pool kayaking. Some parks offer sea paddle boarding and surfing too. If you’re more of a land lover than a water babe then there’s fencing, archery, ropes courses, climbing walls, fishing lakes and golf courses.

If you’re planning a day trip
North Wales
What’s better than spending a day on giant trampolines, netted walkways, slides and tunnels all made from netting?… Well Bounce Below takes it one step further by offering these activities in a cave hidden underground lit with technicoloured lights. This is certainly a May half term activity that the kids will talk about when they go back to school and more than likely the Monday morning topic of discussion at work.
