Where Are We Wednesday – Quay West

Well done everybody who knew the answer to this week’s Where Are We Wednesday post! Of course it was the Welsh wonder that is Quay West.

    The Park

The gorgeous Quay West is set on a cliff top which slopes towards the sea and if you’re lucky you may even be able to spot a dolphin or two. But it’s not all about the beach, despite its stunning views, there’s also swimming pools, tennis, archery and crazy golf to enjoy, and even a woodland walk or picnic on the green grass.

    Out and about

If you love the thrills and spills of water slides then the Blue Lagoon Water Park is just around the corner to get your adrenaline pumping. You can also visit the stunning Caldey Island if you want to take in the breathtaking sights of the Welsh coast or if cute animals are more your cup of tea be sure to check out Animalarium Borth Zoo.

    Did you know?

    • St David’s in Pembrokeshire, South Wales, is the smallest city in Britain, both in terms of size and population!
    • 42% of the South and West Wales coastline is designated as ‘Heritage Coast’
