What’s new at Haven for 2016

Over the course of the next few months Haven is re-investing more than £50 million into our holiday parks to make sure you have an even better time with us next year!

New Park

We’ve added another park for 2016 – the wonderful Thornwick Bay in Yorkshire. It will undergo an impressive £10 million refurbishment over the winter so that when you come to visit there will be a new swimming pool, café bar, entertainment venue, an activity barn, play parks and an owner’s lounge. There’s just so much going on in Flamborough!

Creepy Crawly Days

Thanks to your love of our ‘Nature Rockz’ activities over the past few years you’ll now be able to get stuck into the great outdoors at all 36 of our parks in 2016. And there’s a host of new activities to get involved in including ‘Nature Bracelet Making’, ‘Habitat Creations’ and our ‘Pirates Treasure Hunt’.

Yummy Days

There are a number of developments in Haven’s eateries for when you return in March with Berwick seeing its café bar refurbished to compliment the rich history of the town. Blue Dolphin, Reighton Sands, Kiln Park and Thorpe Park will also have changes made to this area of their parks.

Riviere Sands will be getting a separate kids’ pool with decking, a new two-lane, 10 metre slide, as well as an attractive sun terrace area for relaxing. Burnham-on-Sea is getting am extensive refurbishment of its outdoor pool which will include a ‘bubble seat’ zone.

That’s not all, Primrose Valley and Seton Sands will also be getting refurbishments while the second phase of Craig Tara‘s development will see changes to the changing rooms.

FunStar and Seaside Squad

Fresh Air Fitness is our brand new interactive activity for children in 2016, and it’s one not to miss.

Evening entertainment

It’s time to get excited because Shaun the Sheep will be visiting our parks next year, yes that Shaun the Sheep! Plus, there’s more – CBeebies celebrity Tree Fu Tom is coming all the way from Treetopolis to entertain the kids (and we know the parents love it too!) in the evenings.

And we’ve brought back some favourites from 2015 including the touring pantomime which will be the famous tale of Jack and the Beanstalk, and the Seaside Cirque will also be returning.

Are you ready to twist and shout? You will be when you check out the FunStar team’s production of ‘Carnaby Street W1’ which will feature some of the greatest hits of the 50s and 60s, as well some heartfelt hits of old and new with an acoustic twist in the ‘Caravan of Love’.

Let your competitive side loose as a new interactive quiz show, ‘FunStars Buzz Live’, comes to Haven parks in 2016 for everyone from kids right the way through to grandparents.

And you could even become a record breaker if you holiday with us next year! We are welcoming Guinness World Records so you can put your skills to the test.

There will also be refurbished ShowBars at Cala Gran, Combe Haven, Craig Tara, Devon Cliffs, Littlesea, Primrose Valley and The Orchards.

        Hi,
Many thanks for your reply to my request regarding the Caravel bar at the North Landing in Flamborough, may I also ask if dogs will still be allowed in the bar as they have been over a long period of time, I know a lot of the regulars will be wanting to know as they go walking around the headlands and call in for a pint or two when they return, so on their behalf I hope nothing has changed., many thanks,
        Kind Regards,
        John.
